Cody joined the Ridgeview staff in January 2010. Cody and his wife Lindsey have two sons, Asher (3) and Lincoln who was born in February of 2017. He received his degree in English from Cal State University Bakersfield. Cody is unashamed of the fact that he is a nerd; many of his interests center around "nerd culture" i.e. comic books, Lord of the Rings, science fiction etc. You can also find Cody out playing with his dogs, Macy and Zoe, and in the great outdoors hiking, fishing or hunting. Cody doesn't have a "life-verse" but instead has a "life-chapter" in Matthew 8. He loves this chapter in the Bible because to him it shows the truest testament to the power, love and challenging nature of Christ.
Carolyn received her BS in Human Services/Management from University of Phoenix. Enter her office or home and you will quickly realize she is an avid elephant fan! She comes to Ridgeview with over 20 years of experience working with children in the church and 12 years in after school programs. Her passion is to help boys and girls fall in love with Jesus and to realize their full potential in Him. A passage of scripture that drives Carolyn in ministry to children and in support of parents to lead their children in the ways of the Lord is found in Deuteronomy 6:1-7.
Rebecca became the worship pastor at RCC in February 2016. Originally from San Diego, she graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a B.A. in Intercultural Studies and an M.A. in Religion. Today she continues her theological education online through Nazarene Theological Seminary. During her time at Olivet, Rebecca was in the traveling Orpheus Choir that led worship at churches, camps, and retreats over a four state region. Her love for music and ministry began at an earlier age under the gentle encouragement of her parents, Steve and Vonda Rodeheaver, who continue to pastor and serve in San Diego. She also has two younger siblings, Rachel and John Mark. One of Rebecca’s favorite places in the Bible is the book of Psalms because it has taught her how to pray and praise God in her daily life. One passage that exemplifies this lesson is Psalm 116:1-2; “I love the LORD, because He has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because He inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call on Him as long as I live.”
